Boston Temple’s
150th Anniversary
October 15–16, 2021
We are thrilled to announce the 150th anniversary of the Boston Temple congregation.
The Boston Temple has played a significant role in the rich history of Adventism in our city, having hosted Ellen White, A. T. Jones, and J. N. Loughborough in our pulpit.
Since our relocation in 1941, the Boston Temple has also been an integral component of the Fenway community, Lifeboat food pantry, hosting Neighborhood Night Out on a regular basis.
Additionally, the church has housed ministries ranging from Cambridge to Dorchester, produced additional Boston-area churches, and served the city's several campuses.
By ministering to Boston's students, our church has been able to expand its reach beyond the Fenway neighborhood and the larger Boston area; we provide a spiritual home and nutrition to Adventists who leave from here to serve in countries throughout the world.
We want to take this opportunity to honor not only our neighborhood, city, and worldwide ministry, but also our location's past, present, and future stewardship.
We've arranged a spectacular weekend for October 15–16, 2021, beginning with a Friday evening vespers service, followed by a sacred concert featuring Justin Kent Gjata, Victor Moreno, and several local musicians on Sabbath.
We cordially invite all Seventh-day Adventists and friends in the Greater Boston region to join us on this auspicious day.
