Bill Brace to speak Sabbath, May 28

Men’s Ministries Paintball

May 14—BTYA Forum

This week, Ivan Ruiz-Knott will be facilitating a discussion on evangelism in its various forms—how it has been done in the past, how it is being done today, and how it should be done in the future. In preparation for this, please read “Cities: An Adventist Challenge” recently published in Adventist Review, and be ready to share your thoughts. The discussion will start shortly after the BT Potluck.

NEW BOOK - On May 28 we’ll begin discussing Celebration of Discipline: The Path to Spiritual Growth, by Richard Foster. In it, Foster talks about spiritual practices such as meditation, fasting, simplicity, and celebration, and shows how each of these contribute to a balanced spiritual life. Please by the book. Please.

Baby Shower for Alliston and Karene

The Women’s Ministry will be holding a baby shower for Karene and Alliston during BT Potluck on Sabbath May 21st. You are all invited to join the celebration and are encouraged to participate with gifts. They are having a gift registry on Amazon, you can find it HERE.

French/Creole Bible Work Training, May 27-29

The Haitian Churches in the Compassion Boston territory have organized a Creole-language lay Bible Work training weekend, May 27–29, at Camp Winnekeag. Financial Seminar

On Sabbath Afternoon May 21 at 2:30 pm, Brian Gasbarro will present a seminar on personal finances in Powery Hall. This will take the place of BT Young Adult Forum, and all are invited to attend. It will focus on Sabbath-appropriate topics such as financial stewardship and priorities, and understanding why we spend the way we do.
