Bible Work Training at Boston Korean Church, August 13

The next Compassion Boston Bible Work training is happening on Saturday, August 13 at the Boston Korean Seventh-day Adventist Church. Presenters will be Jack Phillips and Keith LaRoy from It Is Written, plus our Compassion Boston Bible Workers. This training will focus on how to work the evangelistic meetings, and will be translated into Korean. Other upcoming trainings will be held on August 26–27, September 3, and September 9–10. Yard Sale Fundraiser, July 24

Boston Temple Community Services will be hosting a neighborhood yard sale on July 24 from 2:30-6:00 pm here at the Boston Temple Church. Come and join the fun! Bring your unused (or used but in good condition) goods that you would like to donate to the yard sale. Clothing, computer goods, household items ect., all are welcome!

Prayer Vigil for Victims of Orlando Shooting

On Saturday, June 18th at 8:00 pm, the Boston Temple Seventh-day Adventist Church will be holding a prayer vigil in solidarity with those affected by the Orlando shooting.

The vigil is scheduled to last about an hour and will include songs, prayer, a speaking out moment if people need a space to share their fears, concerns and thoughts. We hope this vigil will be an opportunity to support each other as we process this tragic event. 

Donations received will be given to the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida, which is helping the shooting victim’s families in Orlando. All welcomed and invited. Light refreshments will be served.

10,000 Meals, June 19

Once again, Compassion Boston is partnering with Outreach’s End Hunger Northeast initiative to pack 10,000 meals to be distributed in Boston-area shelters. This is a repeat of last year’s packaging event. This year, the event will be held on the first Sunday of Southern New England Conference Campmeeting at3:45 pm in Cedar Hall at the SNEC Campgrounds (24 Sawyer Street, South Lancaster, MA 01561). Compassion Boston Prayer Walk, June 11

Compassion Boston will host a prayer walk on the second weekend of each month in a different greater Boston community from now until the October Evangelistic meetings. Health Ministry Day, June 11

We will be having our Health Sabbath this June 11, with an entire day of activities focusing on God’s health message for these last days. Learn about the Biblical connections between the everlasting gospel and true abundant health. The program will include a special guest presentation at 3 pm by Gabriella Rus-Neascu from Maranatha Natural Living on natural remedies to balance stress and hormones.
