Hospitality Leader Needed

 Boston Temple is currently without a hospitality leader. This is an important position we are looking to be filled. Among others the responsibilities of this person is to coordinate and create teams for organizing potlucks. We already have a couple of established teams, and a list of members who are interested in joining a new team. Church Business Meeting - November 11 at 4:30 p.m.

The quarterly Business Meeting of the church will be held on Saturday
evening, November 11 preceded by a Vespers service at 4:30 p.m. and followed by a light meal
and a social evening. All members of the congregation are encouraged to attend. It is important
to know what is happening in our congregation and to be a part of the planning . There will be a
report from the Treasury, Ministry Reports, and discussion of how to best fulfill God’s purpose
for us here in the Fenway. If there are matters you wish to discuss, please send agenda items to

English for Speakers of Other Languages - ESOL

English for Speakers of Other Languages: Boston Temple in Partnership with Ms. Malka
Schraga is offering a course in ESOL that is running on Tuesday and Thursday evenings or on
Sunday afternoons for twelve weeks. The cost of this course is $60, or $20 per month, cost of
materials included. A free placement test is offered. If you are interested, please contact or Ms.

SDA Heritage Trip October 28. 2017.

We are planning our annual trip on October 28. 2017., to the Washington, NH, SDA Church, where the Sabbath message was first adopted by an Adventist congregation. Our sister church, Salem, will be joining us. While Boston Temple will reamian open and service will be held here, we would encourgae as many as possible to go with us to this historic loaction for a day of worship and celebration of our unique heritage. BTYA Sabbath

October 21 is our quarterly Boston Temple Young Adults Sabbath. The program, from Sabbath School through the Divine Hour will be presented by the Young Adults. There will be potluck after the service. 

All who wish to stay for food and fellowship are encouraged to bring a dish to share. There will be no fixed menu, but rather a genuine old-fashioned potluck. Do join us and enjoy!

Lifeboat Ministry

Lifeboat is a new Boston Temple community outreach initiative through which we will demonstrate Christ's love, serving those in need in our neighborhood. Following Christ's example of caring and serving, we will be a responsive, relevant and reliable community service organization in the Boston area.

BT Campus Ministry

Want to help minister to college students in the Fenway area? Join the BT Campus Ministry team and help us connect with Adventist students and their friends with practical, loving service. Adults of any age and any fits are welcome!

Community Gardening Classes

Come learn how to go beyond organic with your garden, growing nutrient-dense plants that promote health and vitality, while offering opportunities to impart soul-winning practical object lessons about gospel salvation. Classroom sessions will be complemented with hands-on practicum in our church gardens. 

Classes will be held throughout this growing season: Tuesday June 6., Thursday 8., Tuesday June 20., Thursday June 22. at 7:00pm.

Mid-season nurturing and fall harvest classes to follow.
