The next Compassion Boston Prayer Walk will be in Roxbury on Saturday, September 10, hosted by the Berea SDA Church (108 Seaver Street, Boston, MA 02121). Compassion Boston will host a prayer walk on the second weekend of each month in a different greater Boston community, from now until the October Evangelistic Meetings. On Saturday, June 18th at 8:00 pm, the Boston Temple Seventh-day Adventist Church will be holding a prayer vigil in solidarity with those affected by the Orlando shooting.
The vigil is scheduled to last about an hour and will include songs, prayer, a speaking out moment if people need a space to share their fears, concerns and thoughts. We hope this vigil will be an opportunity to support each other as we process this tragic event.
Donations received will be given to the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida, which is helping the shooting victim’s families in Orlando. All welcomed and invited. Light refreshments will be served.
