Free Mother’s Day Flute Recital
Flutist Maria Ramey presents a Mother's Day recital on Sunday, May 8 at 3:00 PM. The program will include works for flute and horn, harp, and piano. “This is a very special way to celebrate Mother's Day with the wonderful women in your life! Free Housing Needed
Rooms needed in the Boston area for male and female Compassion Boston Bible Workers, now through November 2016. This could be a room in your home, or an apartment they could use for free. If you are willing to host a Bible worker or know of any possible spaces, please contact Jack Phillips, at jackp@iiw.org.
Spanish and French Bibles Needed
Our Compassion Boston Bible Workers are hard at work following up with Bible Study leads coming in from It Is Written mailings. We are in need of Bibles in Spanish and French—large print, preferred—to be able to facilitate some of these studies. Bible Work Training, May 13–15
Get ready to get equipped at another Compassion Boston Bible Work Training, a partnership with NETS Express. Come learn how you can be a part of the Boston-area Bible work strategy. This training will be hosted by the Cambridge Seventh-day Adventist Church (62 Dexter Street, Medford, MA 02155) and is open to everyone. Compassion Boston (in partnership with NETS Express) is hosting its first Spanish-language lay Bible Work training next weekend. Prison Ministry Awareness Day
Come hear and see how one couple was called to prison ministry and about the many doors that have been opened for workers to minister inside and outside the jails and prisons throughout the northeast and beyond. The South Lancaster Village Church is holding an event at 2:30 pm on Sabbath, February 27, 2016, to be followed by a question and answer time and music program at 4:30 pm.
