2016 Upcoming Monthly DEAF Bible Study Schedule (Tentative)

We meet at a local church where worship services are interpreted, we have potluck lunch, have a Deaf Bible Study in ASL (this will be voice interpreted if hearing people want to join us) and enjoy DEAF fellowship. Please bring food to share for lunch.

Where: Camp Cherokee, 433 Gilpin Bay Road, Saranac Lake, NY 12983

Camp Cherokee is located in the Adirondack Mountains on a beautiful Saranac Lake. Camp guests will sleep in cabins and healthy vegetarian meals are all included.  Activities include: Boating, Horse Back Riding, Crafts, Canoeing, Knee-boarding, Wake-boarding, Kayaking, Hiking, Swimming, and more. 

Deadline: The deadline to register is Monday, August 5th, 2016. After this deadline, a $20 late fee will be applied to regular registration cost. Register BEFORE the deadline.

Andrews University Credit for High School Students

2016–2017 registration for high school students is now open! This is a great opportunity for students attending to experience Adventist postsecondary education, at just $125 per credit. Interactive online courses have fixed deadlines for classwork, but flex to fit your daily schedule. If your GPA is 3.0 or higher, talk with your school counselor to see if the Andrews University credit you earn will also count as high school credit. Social Media Colporteurs Needed

Family Health & Education Resources is looking to expand our on-line affiliate program with people who use social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn to promote our catalog of very carefully selected materials and earn extra $$ while working in the service of the Lord. Free Mother’s Day Flute Recital

Flutist Maria Ramey presents a Mother's Day recital on Sunday, May 8 at 3:00 PM. The program will include works for flute and horn, harp, and piano.  “This is a very special way to celebrate Mother's Day with the wonderful women in your life! The concert is free, but a suggested donation of $10 adults & $5 seniors/students will benefit student scholarships.” Concert at Thayer Performing Arts Center, AUC’s Community Music School. 438 Main Street, South Lancaster, MA. Bible Work Training, May 13–15

Get ready to get equipped at another Compassion Boston Bible Work Training, a partnership with NETS Express. Come learn how you can be a part of the Boston-area Bible work strategy. This training will be hosted by the Cambridge Seventh-day Adventist Church (62 Dexter Street, Medford, MA 02155) and is open to everyone. SPANISH Bible Work Training, April 30–May 1

Compassion Boston (in partnership with NETS Express) is hosting its first Spanish-language lay Bible Work training next weekend. Come learn how you can be a part of the Boston-area Bible work strategy.
